Oryx recognized as leading the world GTL (Gas To Liquids) industry from Qatar. Oryx GTL is a newly formed Joint Venture between Qatar Petroleum and Sasol (South African Company). Recently they open job vacancy for BSN Nurse to fill the Occupational Health Nursing in their company.Job description :
Supports the company in business activities related to Health and Safety. Provides leadership to ensure safe operation of Oryx Gas-To-Liquid Plant. The Nurse will do their job in order to the developed and implementation of Health and Safety management systems (OHSHAS 18000 standard). Provide thought leadership on the safety strategy for the Company, Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate Emergency Response Plans.
The Nurse also should be able to review contracts for safety requirements, evaluate bids, monitor contractors for performance and make recommendations for improvement. Prepare regular reports on the status of the program, analyzes trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Education/Qualification:
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN Licensure in country of origin, BLS Certification
- Post Graduate qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
- Excellent English written and verbal skills; very good computer skills for Microsoft word, excel, power point, etc
Experience requirement :
- 5 years recent experience as a Register Nurse (RN)
- Previous Management/Supervisory experience
- Must have at least 4 years as an Occupational Health practitioner in an industrial plant environment
- CPR Training; ILS/BLS (Basic Life Support)
